Alexei Jourovski is CEO and Chair of the Investment Committee. He joined Unigestion in 2001 as a Portfolio Manager overseeing Defensive Equity strategies, and went on to lead the Equities Investment team from 2012. Following the partnership between Unigestion and Kepler Cheuvreux, Alexei has taken on the role of CEO at Kepler Unigestion, where he brings over two decades of applied research and investment expertise. Alexei holds a degree in Economics from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and has completed executive education programs at IMD Business School in Lausanne.
Reto Germann, Head of Business Development, is a member of the Kepler Unigestion Executive Committee since 1 July 2025. Previously he held the same position at Unigestion, being part of the Executive Committee since 2022. He joined Unigestion in 2012 as Head of Institutional Clients Germany/Austria, taking on responsibility for the DACH region in 2017, and EMEA in 2018. Prior to joining Unigestion, Mr Germann worked as Head of Fund Linked Products & Alpha Sales at Credit Suisse International from 2009 to 2011. He previously worked for Barclays Capital as Head of Fund Linked & Institutional Equity Derivatives Sales from 2005. He spent 12 years at UBS, latterly as Head of Latin American Equity Risk Management Sales. Mr Germann holds a degree in Economics from the University of Zürich, Switzerland.
Charles Hart is a Senior Commodity Analyst in the Agri Commodity Markets Research (ACMR) team at Rabobank. Based in London, he focuses on grain and oilseed markets. Prior to joining Rabobank, Charles worked at BMI, a Fitch Solutions company, where he covered agricultural commodities, including coffee, corn, rice, and palm oil, and produced research on developments in several major agricultural sectors in economies such as China, India, and the US. He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
PD Dr. Frank Sauer is a political scientist, public intellectual, and podcaster. As Head of Research at the Metis Institute for Strategy and Foresight at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, he advises the German Ministry of Defense on strategy, international security, and technology. His research focuses on nuclear deterrence and the role of AI in warfare. Frank serves on multiple expert panels and advises governments, civil society, and industry. He also co-hosts the award-winning podcast “Sicherheitshalber”.
Dr. Christian Steinborn leads Business Development for Start-up Activities at Rheinmetall AG, Germany’s largest defense prime, a role he has held for three years. With a background in law and psychology, he earned a PhD in Banking Operations Law and an MBA from NIMBAS Bradford University. Christian brings extensive C-level experience across multiple industries and is passionate about driving innovation and strategic partnerships
VDMA is the largest network organization and an important voice for the machinery and equipment manufacturing industry in Europe and Germany. The association represents the common economic, technical and scientific interests of this unique and diverse industry.
Since 2019, Mr. Reimann is the Association’s central coordinator for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in mechanical engineering and, in addition, holds the position of Deputy Managing Director of VDMA Software and Digitalization. He joined the VDMA in 2006 and was initially responsible for a broad range of issues concerning software and digitalization. Mr. Reimann holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Logistics from the Otto-v.-Guericke University in Magdeburg.
Inès Barahhou is a quantitative analyst specialized in green finance at Kepler Cheuvreux Solutions. Inès operates on financial and extra-financial advisory solutions, research on sustainable finance, as well as the development of investment strategies. Inès began her career as a systematic portfolio manager at ODDO BHF from 2016 to 2018, before joining Société Générale as a Quantitative Analyst, in charge of developing machine learning models and assessing the bank’s climate risk (transition risk and physical risk). She then worked for Lyxor Asset Management as Quantitative Researcher in 2020. Inès holds a degree from ENSAE ParisTech and a Master 2 in random modeling from Université Paris Diderot (formerly DEA Laure Elie).
Mr. Pescarmona graduated cum laude with a degree in electrical engineering from the Turin Polytechnic Institute in 1993, and holds a second degree in information sciences from the University of Turin, from which he graduated cum laude in 1996. He also earned in 1998 an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He worked as a consultant in the Milan office of McKinsey & Company, focusing on the insurance and banking industries. Formerly he worked in the Fixed Income Derivatives desk of Morgan Stanley in London. In 2000, Mr. Pescarmona founded Gruppo MutuiOnline together with Alessandro Fracassi, and is currently Chairman of the Board. Gruppo MutuiOnline was listed on the Italian Stock Exchange on 6 June 2007. In April 2024, the company underwent a rebranding and is now known as Moltiply Group.
